LanceSoft is seeking a travel Anesthesia Technician for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

• Responsibilities:
  • Assist in care of patients undergoing anesthesia; prep equipment, place monitors, set up medications/supplies.
  • Operate cell-saver machine; assist in cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and advanced surgical cases; provide on-call coverage.
  • Ensure anesthesia equipment maintenance and preventive care; advanced troubleshooting and equipment support.
  • Assist Chief Anesthesia Technologist in developing and implementing training programs; assist in staff training.
  • Perform anesthesia equipment set-up and troubleshooting (infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators, transport monitors, anesthesia machines, bronchoscopes).
  • Set up rooms between cases; ensure proper equipment for out-of-OR procedures.
  • Provide backup to shift supervisor and perform other assigned duties.
• Required Qualifications:
  • BLS certification.
  • Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Four-year college degree with related technical training, or two-year college degree with related technical training and two years of experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other recognized body preferred.
• Shift:
  • 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM; includes holidays, weekends, on-call, and call back as needed.
