Job Description

We are looking for a Title Paralegal/Closer/Processor to assist at a growing Title Insurance company (Real Estate Law Firm) located in Pompano Beach, FL which has been in business for the last 20 years under the same owner.

• The primary duty is to communicate with the lenders, real estate offices and service companies to obtain the information needed to clear title and proceed to the settlement table. Schedule closings and assist realtors with possible changes and continuations at closing, order continuations & updated municipals searches on scheduled closings, post-closing breakdown on files, prepare closing packages to include policies, invoice, title report, affidavits & survey and assist in other areas of operation, as needed

Requirements:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent experience
• FL Notary License
• Title Agent License A PLUS but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of title processing/ closing experience
• Knowledge with FL transactions
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Organization, responsibility, balance and professionalism a must.
• Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple actions at once
• Flexibility to re-prioritize based on direction of management
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as escrow, closing, title, operating and procedure manuals
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and our team of sales, escrow, and title employees
• Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills required
• Self-motivated to work in a fast-paced
• Be a team player and be flexible enough to be able to address situations & 'put out fires' when it is required
