Text Specialist (Volunteer, Remote, 5 hrs/week)

We are looking for a Text Specialist to help manage and execute SMS campaigns for our Rescue. In this role, you will craft concise, engaging text messages aimed at communicating with volunteers, adopters, supporters, and donors. You will collaborate with different departments to ensure messaging supports our organizational goals and enhances audience engagement. This position requires strong writing skills, experience with text marketing platforms, and attention to detail. You will work remotely for five hours a week, with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule SMS campaigns targeting volunteers, adopters, supporters, and donors.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all text campaigns.
• Manage and segment contact lists for targeted communication.
• Track and report on the performance of text campaigns.

Expectations:

• Experience with text marketing platforms.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
• 5 hours of remote work per week with regular updates to the team.

Rescue Mission: At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission.

Vision: Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by decreasing the amount of dogs breeding unchecked. Becoming the number one dog destination in Spokane and capitalizing on Spokanes love of Rescue Dogs.
