Job Details
We are seeking a Tax Preparer for the upcoming busy tax season. This role will primarily focus on preparing individual tax returns and assisting with other tax-related tasks as needed. If you are a detail-oriented professional with tax preparation experience, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team during tax season.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file individual tax returns accurately and efficiently.
Assist with reviewing financial documents, including income statements, deductions, and credits.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and clarify questions.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with professionalism.
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality results during tax season.
Qualifications:
Prior experience preparing individual tax returns (seasonal tax experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of federal and California state tax regulations.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
