Job Title: Partnership Compliance Consultant (Remote) Company: Jefferson Wells Location: Remote We are seeking a highly skilled Partnership Compliance Consultant with strong experience in 1065 compliance to join our team. This remote consulting role involves providing expert guidance and support to clients in managing partnership tax compliance and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive consulting services related to partnership tax compliance, with a focus on Form 1065. Review and prepare partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations. Advise clients on partnership tax issues, including allocations, distributions, and basis calculations. Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations affecting partnerships and provide actionable insights. Assist clients in resolving complex tax issues and disputes with tax authorities. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize partnership tax positions and minimize liabilities. Collaborate with clients to ensure timely and accurate filing of partnership tax returns. Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate updates to clients. Provide training and support to clients' internal teams on partnership tax compliance matters. Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership tax compliance, with a strong focus on Form 1065. In-depth knowledge of federal and state partnership tax regulations. Proficiency using CorpTax Software S-Corp experience Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and remotely.
