Role Overview:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows-based servers, performing upgrades, and supporting large-scale backup and recovery systems. As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available. You’ll provide your customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skill set in areas like virtualization. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have:
• 5+ years of experience in Windows administration
• Experience with server installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience performing updates and upgrades
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and automating large network backup processes
• Ability to identify and implement server performance optimizations
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience OR 14+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Active Top Secret clearance
