Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining swimming pool equipment, ensuring water quality, and troubleshooting pool systems. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on swimming pools, including cleaning, skimming, vacuuming, and backwashing filters.
Test and balance water chemistry (pH, chlorine levels, alkalinity, etc.) to meet industry safety standards.
Inspect pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems.
Identify and troubleshoot issues with pool equipment, plumbing, or water quality.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining pool maintenance procedures and offering advice on pool care.
Document services performed and recommend any necessary repairs or upgrades.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, service vehicles, and equipment.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Swimming Pool Technician or similar role (certification preferred but not required).
Knowledge of pool systems, equipment, and water chemistry
Ability to use and maintain hand tools and testing equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
