We are looking for: We are looking for Stagehands to join our talent network to be considered for future opportunities onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, WA, and Austin, TX.
This role works on a per-project basis. Sometimes projects are one day, sometimes longer.
Job Responsibilities: - Moving, setting up, and testing lighting, sound, props, and other equipment according to specific requirements.
- Taking cues to move or shift items at specific times & locations.
- Being extremely organized and prepared to execute moves when called upon.
- Building sets and performing a variety of backstage and maintenance tasks.
- Assembling equipment and support structures, and breaking them down when the event is over.
- Making set adjustments when necessary, working with Producers, Directors, and Leads
- Inspecting lighting, sound, and other equipment, and ensuring that all equipment is connected properly and safely.
- Ensuring that the event space and / or stage is clean before and between events, removing any backstage waste products.
Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum 2 years experience working as a stage crew member, ideally in a live corporate event setting.
- Excellent strength & stamina, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Outstanding communication & organizational skills,verbal and written
- Experience in live event corporate settings, working with high level talent.
- Thorough understanding of video, audio, lighting, and other production technology.
- Friendly and helpful attitude toward talent, colleagues, and clients.
- Willingness to help other team members, often working together to achieve goals.
Compensation & Benefits: At Advanced Systems Group LLC, we strive to provide equitable and competitive compensation. Pay is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, experience, and the location where the work is being performed. For this part time role, our current
hourly pay ranges for new hires in each geographic territory are:
Los Angeles and San Francisco: $50 - 65
Austin, TX: $38 - 49
Seattle, WA: $45 - 58
