Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a licensed Washington Pharmacist for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Brewster, WA. If a local candidate is not available, the client is open to a traveler, making this a great opportunity for pharmacists seeking short-term assignments in a supportive clinic environment.
Position Details:
Term: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Volume: ~200 prescriptions per day
Program System: McKesson
EMR/Health Records System: Athena
Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and counsel patients on medication use.
Review medical charts in accordance with OBRA requirements.
Oversee and manage the clinic medication formulary.
Provide in-service training to pharmacy staff and other clinic personnel.
Requirements:
Active and clear Washington Pharmacist License
Licensed pharmacist for 3+ years
Recent retail or outpatient experience required
Strong clinical knowledge, patient counseling, and organizational skills
