Title: Sr. Materials Manager

The Sr. Materials Manager is responsible for ensuring a reliable supply of components, both internal and external, to support the Master Production Schedule at the OKC Facility, all while staying within raw and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory limits. Key tasks include managing the supply chain using SAP and leading a team of buyers, planners, and schedulers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Utilize SAP to generate purchase and shop orders in line with the master schedule.
· Optimize inventory levels by minimizing shortages and reducing raw/WIP inventory.
· Monitor and adjust internal work center capacities to maintain lead times, focusing on continuous improvement.
· Develop capacity planning tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
· Collaborate with Purchasing to enhance vendor relationships, reduce costs, and improve lead times and quality.
· Track and adjust inventory objectives to optimize inventory turns.
· Oversee material logistics and manage excess and obsolete inventory programs.
· Review Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) related to components. Lead a team, including workload delegation, performance management, and team development.
Qualifications & Skills:
·7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Proficiency in SAP .
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and presentation abilities.
· Skills in delegation , staff management , and providing performance feedback.
· Focus on quality , planning/organizing , and making sound, timely decisions.
· Flexibility to adapt to new systems, processes, and changing facility needs.
