Job Description

Our client is seeking to add a SIU Field Investigator to their Florida operations. This person will support the Claims Department operations by conducting in-depth research and investigations into suspicious or questionable property damage, casualty, and PIP claims. This position will focus on uncovering potential fraud and ensuring accurate and fair claim handling. This is a remote position covering the Central Florida area.

• Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious or questionable property damage, casualty, and injury claims, including PIP claims.
• Analyze claims data, review documents, and identify red flags or potential fraudulent activities.
• Investigate medical clinic operations and billing practices to detect fraudulent activity or patterns related to injury claims.
• Collaborate with the Claims Department to support claims handling processes by providing investigative findings and recommendations.
• Conduct interviews with claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties to gather facts and assess the legitimacy of claims.
• Document investigation results in detailed reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommended actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, fraud schemes, and regulatory requirements to enhance investigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in claims investigations, particularly in property damage and casualty claims.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with a focus on detecting and preventing fraud.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations concurrently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interviewing and reporting.
• Proficiency in using claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• College Degree highly preferred.

Salary/Benefits:

• $80,000 to $90,000+ Annual based salary (depending on experience)
