Summary: Join the Kinfolk Bluegrass Band and share your musical talents in a lively and fun-filled atmosphere! We're looking for Singers and Musicians skilled in Upright Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin, or Dobro to bring this authentic bluegrass experience to life. Performers must possess strong musicianship, stage presence, and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic team.
This is a Full-Time Seasonal position from 03/31/2025 until 10/26/2025. Must be at least 18 years of age. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Rehearses parts to learn songs, lines, and cues as directed.
- Reads music and plays in an ensemble in rehearsal and performances.
- Wears costumes to change or enhance appearance and portrayal of character or role.
- Takes direction from the Director or directs self and others in the production.
Required Skills/Abilities: - Able to communicate efficiently
- Expressive abilities, poise, stage presence, and a feel for music are required
Education and Experience: - Previous experience in theme park, theater, and amateur or professional productions is preferred.
- Live stage performance experience is required.
Physical Requirements: - The ability to lift and/or move 10 pounds frequently to 50 pounds maximum
- The ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuously
- The ability to perform choreographed actions related to performing frequently
- The ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructions
- The ability to work in extreme weather occasionally
Work Environment: A musician works in both indoor and outdoor environments. This role involves exposure to various weather conditions, uneven terrain, and moderate to high noise levels. Work includes collaboration with teams and mentors.
