Job Summary:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will play a critical role in the organization by providing support on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between employees, managers, and the HR team.

The ideal candidate will think strategically. They understand how to analyze data for their decision making and evaluation of success. They will be enthusiastic about creating a positive work environment and attracting and retaining top talent.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Provide talent acquisition support, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, in both professional roles and high-volume recruiting.
  • Conducts with management employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with ADP Workforce Now.
  • ADP Recruitment knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to travel.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Strong employee relations and talent acquisition experience.
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This position is on-site with a possibility to work from home 1 day per week.
  • Ability to travel 25% of time.
