This role is a combination of hands-on and strategic vision around build, test and deployment working closely with key stakeholders across the company. A successful candidate will understand the complete software/dev life cycle and have a proven track record on developing complete release engineering solutions that will have a high impact and reach across the entire organization.
Create, maintain, and optimize images for various applications and services
Test and ensure quality of releases
Work with CI/CD pipelines for automation testing and deployment of releases
Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient image creation and updates
Deployment and maintenance of software releases in fleets around the globe
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, InfluxDB, Grafana
Experience with large-scale software development projects and complex build configurations
Understanding of software testing frameworks and practices
Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, in particular with github actions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and documentation skills
