DISH is looking for a Senior Data Scientist specializing in advanced machine learning techniques to join our AI team. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge ML and AI technologies to extract insights, develop predictive models, and create innovative solutions. Your expertise in deep learning, generative AI, and NLP will be crucial in driving our data-driven initiatives and enhancing our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models, with a focus on deep learning and neural networks
• Design and apply generative AI solutions to relevant business problems
• Utilize natural language processing techniques to extract insights from textual data
• Implement and optimize both classical machine learning algorithms and deep learning models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements
• Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, applying new techniques to our projects

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in data science roles, with a strong focus on classical machine learning and deep learning

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with experience in developing and training complex neural network architectures
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience with ML experiment tracking tools
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms, especially AWS SageMaker

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience with other deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, JAX)
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark) for large-scale data processing
• Understanding of MLOps practices for model versioning and deployment
• Contributions to open-source ML projects or research publications

Compensation: $126,615.00/Year - $208,035.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
