As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic aerospace and defense environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and facilitating the flow of information among security-related teams. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining constant awareness of activities across the location and providing prompt, clear communication to both staff and visitors. This position requires strong attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and the ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure. Pay Rate: $23.06 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage communications from a central dispatch point, coordinating responses to incidents and requests for assistance throughout the location.
  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including those relevant to an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities, communications, and incidents as required by site protocols.
  • Assist Allied Universal team members and client personnel by dispatching resources and/or personnel to various locations within the facility as needed.
  • Communicate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or internal staff according to established protocols during emergencies or unusual situations.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with on-site personnel and monitoring their status via radio or other communication devices.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
