The Manager, Configuration Management role will be responsible for management and oversight of the daily activities of 5 teams across 2 sites that consists of configuration/data management, software configuration management, and technical editing specialists. Essential Functions: C ommunicate within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. Make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results. Team leadership, staffing to include forecasting and hiring. Develop, monitor, analyze and act based on team operational metrics. Must be familiar with configuration and data management specifications, and configuration control of military and commercial (FAA) documents. Knowledge of the conduct of functional and physical configuration audits desired. Must possess strong computer skills. (Microsoft Office programs) Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of Configuration and Data Management experience. Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of Configuration and Data experience. In Lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of Configuration and Data Management experience. Must be a US Citizen.
