This position is responsible for assisting with snow removal work which includes operating a pickup truck with a plow, snow thrower, or other mechanically operated snow removal equipment. Additionally, the employee must have the knowledge and ability to use hand tools for snow removal including a shovel, ice pick, and salt spreader. Ability to work nights and weekends required.
Qualifications: Must be creative, enthusiastic, highly organized, motivated, dependable, patient and able to maintain discipline. Must be capable of following directions and have an ability to learn new skills. Possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to complete daily paperwork and work well with others from different cultures and backgrounds. Minimum requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Must be 18 years of age upon employment 3. A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required 4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day Minimum one year of snow removal experience with a pickup truck or other mechanically operated snow removal equipment Wage: $20.00/hour Equal Opportunity Employer
