The Seasonal Color Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Fine Gardening Manager in the design, implementation, planting and management of the Maintenance Department Seasonal Color Program. They will also assist Account Managers in the sale of enhancements through site visits, design work and material acquisition. The Seasonal Color Coordinator reports to the Fine Gardening Manager. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Assist with Off Season Responsibilities: Build seasonal color designs for bed spaces and containers. Enter annual data in software program for contract approval (Annuals materials and pricing). Create templates for installs to distribute to crew leaders. Train and work with other maintenance employees at the shop and on client sites. Assist with Annuals, Displays and Decorations: Facilitate and maintain daily schedule of jobs and keep crews motivated and on track. Prepare plant list and plants to be loaded and expedited for 7:30 a.m Crew departures. Meet delivery trucks as needed and check deliveries to ensure accurate product and return damaged/unwanted plants. Attend pre-arranged meetings/consultations with customers. Prepare all color worksheets for the following day. Determine if all plant material is available and if changes need to be made. If changes are necessary, procure needed materials for crews. Review finished color worksheets for accuracy and submit to Accounts Payable for materials adjustment and billing. Submit any and all receipts to appropriate parties daily. Create and maintain customer folders on an ongoing basis, including site pictures and customer preferences for all seasons. Continue to maintain vendor relationships, upsell, and seek new clients. Oversee annual installs as needed. Be available for last minute purchases and deliveries to crews. Participate in installation as needed. This position requires periodic weekend work, including planting in season and greenhouse responsibilities. Assist In the Yard: Greenhouse management: organize and water plants daily to expedite crew departures in the morning and/or delegate tasks. Oversee return of all decorations, unused annuals, tools and extra material, along with the appropriate paperwork or software data entry.
