Job Description

Job Summary: The Sales & Marketing position at Milan Event Center is a full-time, individual contributor role that will be responsible for increasing event bookings and driving revenue growth. This position will be based at our Bakersfield, California location and will report directly to the Event Center Manager. The successful candidate will have a passion for sales and marketing, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of success in increasing event bookings. Compensation & Benefits: The Sales & Marketing position at Milan Event Center offers a competitive salary range of $75,000-$95,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. In addition, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase event bookings and drive revenue growth
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target markets
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique features and benefits of Milan Event Center
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring the profitability of events
  • Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure a seamless event experience for clients
  • Utilize various marketing channels, such as social media, email campaigns, and advertisements, to promote Milan Event Center and attract new clients
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to generate leads and build relationships
  • Track and report on sales metrics and provide regular updates to the Event Center Manager
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the events industry
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales and marketing tools
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and client meetings
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States and pass a background check
