Position: Reconstruction Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and evaluate damaged properties to determine the scope of reconstruction/restoration work required.
• Develop accurate and detailed estimates using Xactimate software.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters to review and finalize estimates, ensuring all necessary details are included for claim approvals.
• Communicate with customers to explain the scope of work and the claims process, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and technicians to ensure accurate execution of the approved scope of work.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all estimates, adjustments, and communications in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, insurance guidelines, and Xactimate updates to ensure accurate and competitive estimating.

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience as an Estimator in Restoration/Reconstruction
• Xactimate experience required
• Clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
• Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).

Environmental Conditions:

• Estimators may travel to a variety of worksites in a company vehicle.
• Climate-controlled Office/Field setting.
