Job Description

Do you consider yourself to be someone who works well under pressure? If that's the case, our busy quick-service restaurant has a great opening for a Restaurant Manager & Line Cook like you. Someone with experience setting up food service areas, preparing a high volume of food, and maintaining proper food storage conditions is desired. In this role, you'll not only help run the day-to-day operations of the restaurant but also assist in the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared to our high standards and the team is working efficiently. An interest in learning and prior work experience in the food industry are ideal qualities for the position. We need someone who can perform well under pressure, can prioritize their tasks, and can work well with others on the crew. You'll be responsible for both managing staff and assisting with food prep, cooking, and maintaining a smooth operation in a busy environment. This position is open right now if that sounds like you!   • Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions
  • Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
  • Stock ingredients needed for food items by washing, cutting, dicing, or slicing them as needed
  • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Finish each shift by sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning countertops, and wiping down any other surfaces that were used
Qualifications:
  • Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage regulations
  • Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask
  • Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred
  • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
  • Management experience is preferred but not required, willing to train the right candidate
