To learn more about MOSAIC Design + Build, visit Summary of Responsibilities As an Interior Designer & Project Leader, you’ll play a key role in both design and project coordination, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to construction. We are seeking a widely experienced, and deeply ambitious interior designer to join our team here at MOSAIC Design + Build. Essential Functions Design & Client Collaboration Develop creative and functional design concepts for residential remodeling projects. Create and present 2D/3D renderings, elevations, and material selections to clients. Guide clients through the selection process for finishes, cabinetry, fixtures, and more. Utilize JobTread to organize selections, ensure approvals, and manage ordering. Conduct site visits to stay engaged with project progress. Project Management & Coordination Lead projects from design through construction, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Collaborate with sales, design, construction, and administrative teams for smooth execution. Manage permits, documentation, and trade coordination, and quality control Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients. Process & Team Development Maintain and update showroom displays, design libraries, and selection centers. Evaluate and implement design software and industry best practices. Assist in mentoring and training new team members. Education, Experience, and Skills 7+ years of experience in interior design Bachelor's degree in interior design Experience with residential design + build is preferred Proficiency in software such as Chief Architect, JobTread, 2020 Design or similar tools Proficiency in 3D drafting software Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with clients and project teams. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
