Chief Investment Officer (CIO) & Partner Location: Flexible (Remote with occasional travel) Equity: Significant equity package (5-7%, based on experience and commitment)

We are seeking a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Partner to lead investor engagement, business development, and financial strategy while helping scale to new heights. To protect proprietary vision and intellectual property, all candidates must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to discussing the platform’s unique features and strategy. Responsibilities As CIO, you will drive investor engagement strategy, attract and onboard key investors, and forge partnerships that accelerate platform adoption and company growth. While this is a high-level strategic role, it also requires a hands-on approach to business development and relationship management. Investor Engagement & Business Development: Build relationships with individual investors, venture capital firms, and financial institutions to secure their participation. Act as primary representative to the investment community, building trust and long-term partnerships. Deliver high-level, customized pitches and presentations to investors, inspiring confidence in the mission and growth potential. Scout and develop strategic partnerships with industry players, accelerators, and networks to growt the ecosystem. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and CTO to align investor engagement strategies with platform growth and market positioning. Provide insights into how to attract and retain key demographics, including startups, innovators, and investors, while safeguarding proprietary features. Collaborate on the design of investor-friendly initiatives and campaigns to enhance user adoption and engagement. Financial Strategy and Growth Planning: Lead the development of financial roadmap, focusing on revenue generation and long-term sustainability. Identify and execute fundraising strategies, including seed and series rounds, to meet the company’s milestones. Work with the CEO to identify and prioritize new revenue streams that align with the mission. Analyze key financial metrics and report on performance, ensuring alignment with company goals and investor expectations. Performance Metrics and Accountability: Establish measurable KPIs for investor acquisition, retention, and business development success. Provide regular updates to the executive team on progress, using data-driven insights to refine strategies. Experience 5+ years in business development, investor relations, or financial strategy, with a proven track record of securing high-value partnerships. Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and relationship-building in wealth management and venture capital industries. Demonstrated ability to identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships. Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments.
