Experienced Refrigeration Technician desired for commercial kitchen equipment installations including refrigeration for Walk-in Cooler/Freezers. Project locations are mostly in surrounding states, but occasionally farther away. Home almost every weekend. Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record and must be able to pass background checks for military & correctional projects. Minimum requirements include " extensive" knowledge of refrigeration systems , very skilled at soldering copper piping, willingness to travel every week , handy with power tools, effective & polite communication with customers, and ability to manage multiple laborers while working. Must be self-motivated to stay busy, hard-working, loyal, and possess excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installation of walk-in cooler/freezers, refrigeration systems, commercial kitchen equipment, hanging exhaust hoods, caulking, startups, owner training, etc. Extensive refrigeration knowledge & current experience is required, along with being mechanically inclined, but all other installation knowledge can be learned. Salary will be 100k, plus bonus . Possessing a current Alabama refrigeration license or meeting the qualifications to get one in your name is required. Ability to fully install & troubleshoot refrigeration systems, independently, is an absolute requirement. DO NOT APPLY if you cant install, troubleshoot, and speak knowledgeably about refrigeration.
