The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract and hire candidates across multiple departments within the organization. This role supports building a strong workforce by identifying skilled individuals who align with company values and deliver exceptional guest service. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensures a timely, efficient, and positive hiring experience for all applicants.

Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities:

1. Partner with department leaders to identify current and future staffing needs and define job requirements.
2. Create and post engaging job listings that reflect the company's brand and culture.
3. Source candidates through job boards, social media, recruiting events, and community partnerships.
4. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
5. Manage the applicant tracking process and maintain accurate recruitment records.
6. Facilitate reference checks, job offers, and pre-employment onboarding.
7. Coordinate participation in career fairs, school partnerships, and local hiring events.
8. Track key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and retention rate to ensure hiring efficiency.
9. Develop strategies to improve candidate pipeline and overall recruitment process.
10. Act as a brand ambassador for the company, providing a positive candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
11. Develop and implement a standardized recruiting process to ensure consistency and efficiency across all departments.
12. Create structured interview guides and standardized hiring questions tailored to each position, ensuring fair and compliant hiring practices.

Due to the natural environment at Ojo Spa Resorts, all staff must be comfortable outdoors performing physical activities, and be able to navigate uneven ground, diverse terrain, multiple stairs, and be prepared to work in unpredictable weather conditions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a service-related or hospitality environment.
3. Familiarity with HRIS or ATS systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, or similar platforms).
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
5. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
6. Working knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and interview techniques.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
9. Ability to stand for extended periods, sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and push/pull/lift items weighing up to 40 pounds, for example.
10. This role requires the ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, auditory focus, and visual attention.
