Salary: $80,000-$120,000

Job Title: Real Estate Growth Analyst

Company: Small Independent Hotel Chain

Location: Preferred: California or Toronto or Vancouver. Or a 1hr flight to these locations.

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Description: Working closely with an experienced team of operators, investors and entrepreneurs to grow a hospitality business. Develop and surface opportunities and collaborate and learn from a highly professional group of investor / operators with consulting, private equity and entrepreneurship backgrounds. Responsibilities:

  1. Deal Sourcing: Build and nurture relationships with owners of independent hotels to identify potential deals. Source lease and purchase deals in high priority cities across North America by actively engaging with stakeholders including brokers, developers and owners. Attend relevant conferences & trade shows to continue to build deal pipeline.
  2. Market Analysis & Deal Assessment: Develop an understanding of the market dynamics, trends, and potential conversion opportunities in high priority cities. Conduct thorough market research to identify viable conversion projects and assess their feasibility. Evaluate opportunities based on risk, return, feasibility and long term potential.
  3. Real Estate Due Diligence: Perform detailed due diligence on potential acquisition targets, including financial analysis, property inspections, and legal assessments. Collaborate with legal and financial teams to ensure all aspects of due diligence are completed accurately and efficiently.
  4. Zoning and Planning: Utilize knowledge and understanding of zoning regulations, city planning policies, and building design principles to assess the feasibility of conversion projects. Navigate regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals for conversion projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field.
  2. 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate development, preferably with a developer, design/build firm, brokerage, or city planning.
  3. Strong understanding of zoning regulations, planning processes, and building design principles.
  4. Proven track record of deal sourcing and relationship building within the real estate industry.
  5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and financial analysis.
  6. Love of travel, ability to travel & understanding of the travel wanderlust
