Our client is a leading real estate development firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializing in self-storage and commercial development projects. They are dedicated to creating value through innovative development strategies and fostering long-term relationships with our clients and partners. They are currently seeking a skilled Real Estate Analyst to join our clients team.

Job Description:
As a Real Estate Analyst , you will play a critical role in providing market research, assisting in site selection, and conducting financial modeling. You will also support general development and acquisition efforts, helping to assess the feasibility and profitability of real estate investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating real estate investment opportunities, including feasibility and profitability analysis.
  • Create proforma models and use ARGUS or similar tools to assess project feasibility.
  • Conduct preliminary due diligence on prospective projects.
  • Assemble and produce project approval packages for internal presentations.
  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge and track top national merchants operating in the Midwest and Southwest regions.
  • Identify development opportunities, including self-storage, retail, and build-to-suit projects in the Midwest and Southwest.
  • Build and maintain a network of property owners and joint venture development partners.
  • Potential travel to development sites in the Midwest and Southwest as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Graduate degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate, development, brokerage, planning, or finance.
  • Knowledge of leasing, tenant representation, and local real estate markets is a plus.
  • High initiative, proactive approach, and strong team collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills (MS Office, Power BI).
  • Experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, and acquisition analysis.

  • Competitive salary: $85K–$95K+, commensurate with experience
  • Benefits package, including health insurance and discretionary bonus
