Now Hiring: Quality & Food Safety Associate (Junior Level)

Location: Albany, GA (On-site)

Assignment Duration: May 25, 2025 – May 24, 2026

Pay Rate: $29.00 – $35.00/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Quality & Food Safety Associate to support key programs within the Research & Development department. This long-term temporary role focuses on ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across various food safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support microbiological verification, environmental monitoring, allergen control, and related food safety programs
• Assist in root cause investigations of food safety incidents and contribute to the implementation of corrective/preventive actions
• Help translate external food safety requirements (regulatory/customer) into internal procedures and best practices
• Participate in the sensory evaluation program, including resampling products, preparing sensory panels, and validating product quality
• Organize and scan documentation to support inbound verification activities
• Provide input for technical activities, such as equipment installations and risk assessments tied to change management
• Assist with general department tasks including document review, creation, and administrative support

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a quality, food safety, lab, or product development role
• Background in chemistry, biology, food science, public health, or related field is preferred (not required)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required; this role is not suitable for those transitioning from unrelated fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn on the job in a fast-paced team environment
