Job Description

As a Public Relations Specialist , you will support the execution of public relations strategies for GIGABYTE and AORUS PC products in North America. This role focuses on assisting in media outreach, coordinating press materials, tracking PR performance, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external media partners. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth PR operations, helping drive brand awareness and media coverage in the gaming, creator, and AI PC space.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and executing PR initiatives across PC DIY, consumer, and business segments.
  • Support media outreach by organizing press lists, tracking pitching progress, and following up with journalists and influencers.
  • Help prepare and distribute press materials, including press releases, media pitches, product fact sheets, and review guides.
  • Maintain and organize PR assets such as product images, videos, press kits, and briefing documents.
  • Track and compile media coverage reports, analyzing PR metrics to assess campaign performance.
  • Coordinate press loaner programs, including managing inventory, shipping review units, and tracking review statuses.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating media events, briefings, and product launch activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing and content teams, to ensure messaging consistency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor coverage, and emerging media opportunities.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of PR principles, particularly within the technology and gaming industries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with PR tools for media monitoring and tracking.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and industry influencers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Internship or prior experience in tech, gaming, or consumer electronics is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with laptops, monitors, and the broader PC industry.
  • Experience using PR tracking tools, such as Meltwater, Cision, or Muck Rack.
  • Exposure to influencer marketing, media relations, or content creation.

Working Conditions:

  • 5% travel for media events and product launches.
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, and handling office equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. when managing event setups or media shipments.
