Outpatient Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Chatham County!

Position Information:
Full-time opportunity for an outpatient provider
Position will be split between Chatham Primary Care and Family Medicine at Pittsboro
Provide direct patient care in office setting.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide patient care for adults and children through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health needs.
Provide medication management and perform psychiatric evaluations for patients pursuing OP services.
Provide psychiatric leadership and direction for the treatment team under the supervision of physician psychiatrist.
Position Qualifications:
2-plus years of experience
Licensed and certified PMHNP; ANCC or AANP Board Certified

Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:
No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Demonstrated clinical competency.
Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
