Job Description STMCO Construction is a commercial general contractor who specializes in tenant improvement, QSR build outs, multi-family, hotel, and shopping center construction. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing company. We are looking for the right people to join our team, who are passionate about building and want to do big things. Must have experience and the ability to jump right into the construction process, plan and supervise construction projects from start to finish. Must be able to run 4-6 tenant improvement projects at any given time. We are looking for a team player who does not shy away from hard work and has a hustler mentality to get the job done. You will also need to sell and maintain a book of business. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Must work well with the field team superintendents and site foremen to keep projects moving forward and meeting deadlines. Estimating is a plus but not required. Responsibilities: Manage project budget and changes to ensure profitability. Utilize PROCORE to keep projects moving at a rapid pace. Manage project to a schedule and be able to make changes as necessary. Conduct project buyout to ensure profitability. Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation. Allocate resources for assigned projects. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors. Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate entities. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients. Work directly with in-house estimator, superintendent, owner, and team to ensure project is completed on time and within budget. Troubleshoot and make quick decisions to keep the project moving forward. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications. Report directly to the owner. Qualifications: Previous experience in general construction management. Familiarity with construction management software, Procore and Microsoft Planner a must. Understanding of tenant improvement and commercial projects. Outstanding communication, sales, and negotiation skills. Team player. Strong leadership qualities. Strong negotiation skills. Deadline and detail-oriented.
