Job Description

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and ensuring timely delivery of meat, ingredients, and packaging materials. This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and order materials based on production and storage needs
• Coordinate deliveries and manage on-site and off-site inventory
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Enter purchase orders and assist with invoice processing
• Collaborate with Production, QA, R&D, and Warehouse teams
• Support Operations and Plant Managers with procurement tasks
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with company policies

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in an office setting (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Canopy software a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) and experience in meat processing are a plus

Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with occasional light physical activity (lifting up to 25 lbs). Regular use of computer and standard office equipment.
