Job Description: Private Duty Nursing

Saint Genevieve, Missouri | Full-Time |Monday-Friday Days

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN or RN to join our team and provide one-on-one daily care for a medically fragile pediatric client in the Saint Genevieve , MO area. This private duty nursing (PDN) position offers stability, consistent hours, and the opportunity to build a meaningful bond with both the client and family.

• Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
• Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (in the client’s home)
• Location: Saint Genevieve , Missouri
• Schedule: Full-time days — Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Day shift (exact hours to be discussed during interview)
  ???? About the Client
  You will be providing direct, skilled care for a pediatric client with chronic medical needs who relies on consistent daily monitoring and supportive care. This is a stable, long-term case with a supportive family and a collaborative care team.
  ???? Responsibilities
• Provide daily monitoring and skilled nursing care tailored to the child’s medical needs
• Perform gastrostomy tube care , medication administration, and treatments as ordered
• Monitor respiratory status (trach/vent, oxygen, suctioning — if applicable)
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Maintain a safe, calm, and comforting shift environment
• Communicate effectively with the family, care team, and agency
• Participate in ongoing training and follow the established plan of care
  ✔️ Qualifications
• Active Missouri LPN or RN license (in good standing)
• Pediatric or home-health experience preferred — but we provide training for the right fit
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work independently and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Reliability and consistency — especially important for nighttime private duty
