We are seeking a staff, senior staff, or principal Web Engineer to help build out a full-featured particle.news web experience, internal tools, and other special projects. The ideal candidate has experience taking ownership of projects and tasks from start to finish, with minimal guidance. Key Requirements Proficient (7+ years) in web development, particularly with Typescript, React Hooks, and GraphQL Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment, with a focus on rapid prototyping and iteration Self-starter who takes ownership and initiative in project areas Product-oriented mindset and instincts, understanding the importance of delivering excellent user experiences Experience using LLMs like ChatGPT Nice to Have Experience using LLMs in a production environment Interest or background in news / journalism At Particle, we’re reimagining your daily intake of news to help you understand more, faster.
