Performing Arts Educator

Jubilee Co-Operative Preschool, the sister-school of HCS, is on the hunt for a multi-faceted educator who leads with a spirited personality. This person will co-teach with others and manage the operation of the Performing Arts classroom in our preschool. You're the actor, storyteller, dancer, musician, who will help our children express themselves through song, dance, dramatic/role playing while building vocabulary and language while boosting social emotional well-being.

Ideally, you're a seasoned early childhood educator with a diverse resume of roles in the performing arts. We're looking for an individual to inspire our group of diverse, play based learners to find their voice through the language of movement, music and role playing.

Our brand-new campus located in the South Carolina Lowcountry between Beaufort and Bluffton, is tucked into the woods. You'll spend at least two hours each morning outside enjoying the temperate weather with other classes. Once inside, our students rotate through content specific classrooms over the course of the week. As a Performing Arts Expert, you'll share a home-based class with two other teachers and over the course of the week see all the students in the school (one class per day). Our preschool follows a traditional school calendar with holidays, breaks and vacation time built into the calendar but that's as traditional as it gets around here. This isn't a daycare or your run of the mill preschool. We are serious about early learning and always looking for ways to improve. Jubilee Co-Operative Preschool is a private, 501c Non-Profit Preschool, licensed by the South Carolina Department of Social Services. Heartwood Community School is a South Carolina State Charter School. Both schools share the same campus.
