Job Summary

Podcast Producers assist Lead Producers in client projects from start to finish in the publishing division. Their tasks are as needed by the Lead but include production tasks below. This is a behind the scenes role in the production department, with little to no communication directly with the client.

Producers are expected to be clean, professional, and organized to maximize client retention and drive results for the podcast programs.

Essential Functions

• Help identify and research guests to get them booked with the client.
• Draft email outreach for podcast guests.
• Draft show notes, email drafts, and social media copy for podcast episodes.
• Juggle delivering products and managing multiple deadlines.
• Assist Lead Producer as needed.

Education & Experience

• Experience with podcast production tools and software.
• Experience in content writing and social media copy for podcast episodes.

Position Type and Expected Hours

• Part-Time (15-20 hours weekly). Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm for training period. The position works Eastern Standard Time.
