Location: Traveling Position

This can be a full-time benefitted position OR a part-time position for either our South or North pod.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Liaison to join our private physician-owned gastroenterology (GI) clinic. The Physician Liaison will be responsible for creating and implementing PR strategies to increase physician referrals, community awareness, and patient engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful PR campaigns, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

REMOTE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Internet minimum recommendation:
    1. 20Mb/s down, 10Mb/s up, less than 10ms latency. Comcast offers up to 1000Mb/s down, 40Mb/s up, less than 5ms latency.
  • Computer:
    1. Windows 10 or 11 with i5 processor or better, 8GB+ RAM or better, 1920x1080 resolution screen, ability to run an extra monitor if you wish.
    2. Gotchas: 4K(3840x2160) may be too small of a font for some of the applications. You will have to play with your settings to read some parts of Intergy.
    3. Mac with Sequoia OS or newer.
    4. Virus protection on your computer. Recommend Sentinel One or Sophos.

*** No Chromebooks, Windows 7, old Mac OS, etc. Computers must be able to update to stay secure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to increase physician referrals, community awareness, and patient engagement.
  • Create and manage content for various platforms such as social media, blogs, websites, and email marketing.
  • Develop relationships with physicians, medical staff, community partners, and media contacts to promote the clinic's services and initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate community events, outreach programs, and health fairs to increase the clinic's visibility and patient engagement.
  • Monitor and report on PR KPIs and metrics, including media coverage and social media engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, media opportunities, and community events to identify potential opportunities for the clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns.
  • Experience in event planning and community outreach programs
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of PR KPIs and metrics with the ability to analyze and report on data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and content management systems.
