Photo Editor

Location: Remote work

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Photo Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in color correction, retouching, background removal, image resizing, and optimization, as well as an eye for detail and brand alignment. This role also involves managing lighting adjustments and handling multiple images efficiently while ensuring the quality of edits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform color correction and balancing to adjust hues, saturation, and brightness for accurate and appealing visuals.
  • Execute retouching and cleanup tasks to remove imperfections, scratches, or dust, and enhance texture.
  • Apply background removal techniques to isolate products and create white or transparent backgrounds.
  • Resize and optimize images to meet platform or printing requirements without losing quality.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of various file formats, including PNG, JPEG, and TIFF, for different applications.
  • Enhance composition by refining framing and perspective for professional presentation.
  • Align edits with the company's style and branding guidelines.
  • Conduct 3D mockup editing for packaging, if required.
  • Adjust lighting, correcting shadows and highlights to ensure products appear realistic and appealing.
  • Provide feedback to team members on their quality of work.
  • Develop and deliver refresher courses and training materials for team members on best practices and new techniques.
  • Assist in audits and answer inquiries on documentation and EMR best practices.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in photo editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in product or packaging image edits.
  • Proficiency in color correction, retouching, background removal, and image resizing.
  • Familiarity with different file formats like PNG, JPEG, and TIFF.
  • Attention to detail to ensure images look polished and consistent.
  • Strong composition enhancement skills for refining framing and perspective.
  • Ability to align edits with brand guidelines.
  • Experience with 3D mockup editing and lighting adjustments.
  • Efficiency in handling multiple images in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to understand feedback and incorporate changes effectively.
  • Ability to develop training materials and provide constructive feedback to team members.
