The agency specializes in three main areas of practice including Personal Lines Insurance, Employee Benefits and Business Insurance.

Personal Lines Insurance Producer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Personal Lines Insurance Producer to join our personal lines new business sales team. This person will be responsible for the sales of new personal lines (Home & Auto) insurance policies by closing company-provided leads, building a referral network, and gaining the trust of partners withing the community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quote, bind, and issue new property (home/condo/dwelling fire/mobile home), personal automobile, flood, umbrella, motorcycle, and RV policies.
• Develop a network of referral sources (realtors, mortgage brokers, home inspectors, etc.).
• Field underwrite new risks using insurance company provided underwriting guidelines.
• Establish client relationships and respond to client questions and inquiries.
• Prepare insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close new business.
• Follow up on personal lines prospects.
• Document and maintain accurate records in agency management system (AMS360 and ImageRight).
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations.
• Meet production goals as determined by management.
• Maintain a strong and positive work ethic.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess a Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License with the expectation of obtaining Florida 20-44 Property & Casualty Personal Lines Agent License or 2-20 General Lines License within the first 6 months of employment
• Minimum of 1 year of personal lines insurance sales or service experience required
• Experience with Vertafore AMS360 and ImageRight desired but not required; will consider other agency management systems
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Excellent time management, organizational and verbal and written communication skills

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
