Job Type Full-time Description Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7:10 AM to 5:15 PM Every other Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a caring and energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team in Lancaster, PA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong clinical skills, and the ability to create a positive and comfortable environment for our young patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures. Assist the pediatric dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort. Take and develop X-rays as required. Provide patient and parent education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care. Maintain sterilization and infection control standards. Manage patient records and ensure proper documentation. Foster a welcoming and positive environment for children and families. Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with front-office duties as needed. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Dental assistant certification (CDA or equivalent) preferred. X-ray certification (required in Pennsylvania). Experience working in a pediatric or general dental practice is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with children and parents. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
