Job Description

This role is part-time. The hours would be 3pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday

We seek energetic and compassionate part-time teachers to work in our school-age classrooms. Each classroom is staffed with a lead teacher and assistant teacher who work with the rest of our faculty to create a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for our families. We strive to create a safe, positive, and supportive work environment for our faculty daily.

Starting pay is $17.50 or more depending on experience

Qualifications:

• US work authorization (Required)
• High school Diploma/GED (Required)
• Must be 18+ (Required)
• Early Childhood Education experience 1 year (Preferred)
• Child care experience 1 year (Preferred)

Applicants Must Have or Be Willing to Obtain:

• A Portable Background Check (through Washington Merit)
• Negative Tb Test
• CPR/First Aid Training
• Blood Borne Pathogens Training
• WA State Food Handlers
• Proof of MMR immunization

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Advance children's physical and intellectual competence through quality our chosen curriculum program and teacher planning
• Support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
• Establish positive and effective family relations through professional communication.
• Ensure an effective program that is responsive to children's needs.
• Proficient with interpersonal communication between children, peers, and parents.
• Must maintain a professional commitment to the Luv-N-Care philosoph
