Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats is looking for a highly enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Associate who is ready to join us as we head into a new chapter in our historical journey. We are looking for a Seltzer’s enthusiast who will engage customers, selling who we are and our mission as a company!

Role: Reporting to the outlet store supervisor, the  Part-Time  Retail Associate is responsible for greeting and receiving customers in a welcoming manner, providing exceptional customer service. The  Part-Time  Retail Associate is also responsible for responding to customers’ questions while directing and escorting customers to racks and counters. Weekend work required.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the shelves and racks are stocked.
• Process payments by totaling purchases, manage cash, and process credit or debit cards.
• Pricing items and assisting with inventory.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Ensure food safety and food defense in the store.
• Fulfill ecommerce orders.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail experience not necessary but helpful.
• Energetic communication.
• General math skills.
• Strong references from previous employers.
• Must have 8:45am – 4:15pm availability Sunday through Saturday.
  • Typically work 3-4 days a week, 5-6 hour shifts, at least 1 weekend day is required.
