As a Grocery Online Order Shopper, you will play a key role in supporting customer orders, ensuring they are accurately prepared for delivery or pickup.

This position involves shopping for a wide range of everyday items including food, household goods, and more throughout our store. Flexibility in your schedule is essential, particularly during our busiest times on Saturday and Sunday. We are especially looking for team members who are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Availability Requirements

• Receive your schedule up to 3 weeks in advance
• Average shifts last between 4 to 8 hours

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize handheld technology (mobile devices) to efficiently fulfill online orders
• Complete online orders accurately and with a sense of urgency
• Maintain attention to detail for product and order accuracy
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn about product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations
• Keep the staging area organized and free of clutter
• Be willing to assist in other store departments as needed, such as customer service, cashier, or grocery

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to read and communicate in basic English
• Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for at least 6 hours
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Work an 8-hour day involving standing/walking for 6-8 hours
• Use of hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Physical motions required: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
• Condition of working in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with tools and equipment like box cutters and electric pallet jacks
• Potential use of ladders

The wage range for this position is $17.00-$25.40 hourly, depending on experience. Whole Foods Market offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, eligibility for store discounts, paid time off, and access to various other programs. Benefits eligibility is determined by the terms of the Whole Benefits plan at the time of hire.
