Job Description

Home Health Agency has IMMEDIATE need for a Part Time Clinical Nursing Director for a start-up Medicare agency in Metro Atlanta.

Registered nurse will complete   admission and follow on assessments for clients in the clients home.

Complete care plan that will be followed by the caregivers. Document assessment findings.

● Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing accreditation and survey readiness activities. This may include site visits and surveys by accrediting agencies. All initial policies will be provided by company.

● Help staff identify any accreditation issues and promote process improvement. Regularly assess the continual readiness plan and identify areas for improvement.

• Onboards. Directs and mentors, and develops staff according to job expectations, including giving job performance reviews
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary professionals to implement patient care.
• Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; and identifying system improvements
• Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures as needed.
• Assures quality of care by developing and interpreting the standards of care, enforcing adherence to federal, state and local regulations • Supervision of clinical staff.

You will work one-on-one with patients in their own home.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must have active GA RN license

· Must have reliable transportation and valid GA driver's license

· Must have current CPR/BLS Certification

· Must Have Negative TB result within the last year or chest x-ray within 3 years

· Must be caring and compassionate

Experience working in a Home health agency, Assisted living facility or nursing home preferred but not required.

Experience working in a Medicare certified agency and/or participation in JHCO site survey highly desirable
