Part-Time Dental Assisting Instructor (Multiple Courses) Company: California Dental Educators Location: Rocklin, California (In-Person Only) Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: Flexible — Weekday, Evening, and Weekend Courses Pay: $25–$35 per hour (Based on experience and course taught) About Us California Dental Educators is an approved provider by the Dental Board of California, offering hands‑on, in‑person training courses to help dental assistants earn certifications and advance their careers. Courses You May Teach Depending on your qualifications and availability, instructors may teach one or more of the following: 8‑Hour Infection Control Radiation Safety Coronal Polishing Pit and Fissure Sealants Orthodontic Assistant (OA) General Chairside Assisting Responsibilities Deliver Dental Board‑approved course content in a professional, engaging, and student‑centered manner Supervise students during lab, pre‑clinical, and clinical activities Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and exams Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, evaluations, and exam results Provide timely, supportive communication and feedback to students Collaborate with course directors and staff to ensure smooth course delivery Qualifications Required: Current and active California RDA license held for at least 2 years Valid Pit and Fissure Sealant Certificate At least 2 years of recent chairside dental assisting experience Current BLS certification Instructional knowledge of: 8‑Hour Infection Control Coronal Polishing Radiation Safety Pit and Fissure Sealants Orthodontic Assisting General Chairside Assisting Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable with hands‑on, lab‑based instruction Passion for teaching and mentoring future dental professionals Preferred: Prior teaching, training, or presentation experience Completion of Dental Board‑approved methodology teaching courses Why Work With Us?
