Paralegal – Commercial Real Estate

A full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its Tampa office . This role supports a sophisticated real estate practice in a team-based environment and requires 5+ years of experience in a law firm . Strong title and survey skills, technical proficiency, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review commercial and residential real estate closing documents .
• Assist with loan documentation , including UCC Financing Statements.
• Coordinate closings by maintaining checklists, preparing signature pages, reviewing settlement statements, and working with transaction parties.
• Order and review title and survey materials, draft title/survey objections, and prepare escrow closing letters.
• Gather and analyze due diligence materials, such as zoning letters, UCC/judgment searches, entity authority documents, and estoppel letters .
• Conduct lease reviews and prepare lease abstracts .
• File and record legal documents as needed.
• Prepare closing binders and manage post-closing matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience in a law firm setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong title and survey skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills .
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.

Position Details:

• Full-time role with standard office hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) and flexibility for overtime when needed.
• Physical presence and punctuality are required.
