Packager

Belanger, Inc. is part of OPW VWS, a leader in the Vehicle Wash Manufacturing industry. We have openings in on our Packaging teams at our Novi facility. This is  not a position picking/packing in a large warehouse. This position is part of a small team that packages entire car wash systems and components that we manufacture to be shipped to new sites. You will work in an environment that feels like a small business with the backing of a large fortune 500 corporation.

This is a first shift position, M-F with daily OT and Saturdays as needed to meet customer demands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow Bills of Materials to pull, package/wrap, palletize customer orders
• Use various measurement and hand tools
• Assemble wood pallets
• Operate industrial saw to cut wood for creating pallets 
• Follow all company rules and policies

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Degree or Equivalent required
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing environment preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, manuals, and memos
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Desired Characteristics:

• Forklift experience

Experience working with tools and measuring equipment
