Who We're Looking For: - Someone who loves working with kids and creating a positive experience.
- A dependable team player with a strong work ethic.
- A difference-maker who is eager to learn and grow.
Requirements: - X-ray and CPR certification is required
- Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred, but we will train the right person!
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred
- Additional certification or training is a plus
- Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.
- Full-time role (30+ hours per week).
A Typical Day as an Orthodontic Assistant: - Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
- Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
- Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
Schedule: - Some Saturdays may be required
- Daytime hours - No nights!
