Salary: 104,650 - 189,175 USD per year Requirements:
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience. Additional experience, training, or certificates may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or higher, or the ability to obtain within 30 days from acceptance of the offer.
- Experience with Oracle 11GR2 and database administration.
Responsibilities: - Provide expert analysis of computer networks with primary knowledge requirements of information processing methodology, information technology, computer capabilities, and processing techniques.
- Work across IT functional boundaries (e.g., other system administrators, SAN administrators, network administrators, database administrators).
- Proactively address problems on servers/systems and operating systems.
- Explore and suggest solutions to challenges as appropriate; monitor space usage, delete log files, dump files, and correct errors.
- Install, configure, maintain, document, and administer databases, Oracle Server Software, and Oracle-related products to provide optimum performance and system availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents detected during database monitoring or reported by users.
- Manage, migrate, and debug application software as it applies to the Oracle Database.
- Exercise initiative and champion solutions while conducting random health checks on databases. Prepare performance reports.

We are excited to invite a new colleague to our National Security Sector at Leidos as an Oracle Database Administrator in Suitland, MD. All work is onsite, and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this role. Your contributions will achieve critical mission objectives necessary to continue smooth operations for the HOPPER mission, as well as for other internal and external agencies. You will collaborate with internal/external customers and other experts to develop technical solutions to complex problems that are not immediately identifiable. Additionally, the Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation; it ranges from $104,650.00 to $189,175.00, depending on factors such as responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
